The Frenchwood Family – Together We Grow, expresses our connection to the wider Frenchwood community, not only those who attend our school. By working with other groups in the locality, our learners have the opportunity to see service to others in action, and understand that they can also make a difference and be a positive influence in the world.

ABOUT PARADISE GEMS
Paradise Gems is a non-profit charity organisation, set up in August 2022, specialising in care and education for the Special Education Needs and Development of children and young people whilst taking care of such needs for adults where practical. The drive to set up this unique charity came from the lack of facility available in Preston to support the SEN/SEND needs.
The charity is set up in honour of Sajedah Maka-Ismail late father and mother. Consequently, to date it has focused on providing the services and support primarily to the community in Preston.
The provision for education for SEN and SEND for primarily the beneficiaries started in November 2022 and in the period to date, Paradise Gems has attracted a high level of interest locally and from other areas for such a service which is currently run from a local Primary school, renting their classrooms in the evening.
The education and development activities are run with acute consideration of an individual beneficiary’s needs including one-to-one teaching. This has ensured focused learning at the pace of the individual child and your person that provides them with a safe space where they can excel and express themselves.
